If you're reading this, you've certainly got nothing to do, so I'm going
to fill your time telling you something about myself; my name is
Flavio Chierichetti [ flavio AT lightless DOT org ], I was born on May 21st 1982 in
Rome, the city where I currently live.
In the year 2000 (during my fourth high school year), I was chosen
as a member of the IOI Italian
team: China (where the IOI was hosted that year) was so utterly gorgeous
that, since then, I haven't really been sure about Italy being the most beautiful
country in the world 8^).
In 2001 I was chosen for the CEOI Italian team (that time in
Hungary).
Starting from the year 2002 I've been involved in the tutoring of the
Italian IOI contestants.
In the year 2006 I got my master's degree in Computer Science at La
Sapienza in Rome. Now I'm a Ph.D. student there.
I like music - internationally I prefer Queen, REM
and Pink Floyd - comedy - I just LOVE
NBC's Friends - writing free (as in freedom) software and a number of
other things that would be too boring to read about 8^).
What else to say? I study guitar, but I'm not good at playing it
8^)...
