These are programs that, for a reason or another, didn't get to have their own page 8^).
- TERMatrix 0.2: This little
software emulates "The Matrix" on your VT-100 compatible terminal 8^). It
has been tested on GNU/Linux.
- MISS 0.31u: MISS (Media Indexing and Searching System) is - surprisingly - a media indexing system. It's written in
PHP and supports many DBMS via the PEAR interface (whose needed files are
included in the MISS package). MISS is beta software.
- powernow-k8.c patch for linux 2.6.15: this is experimental software and it may permanently damage your computer; if you choose to use it, be aware that you do it at your own risk.
By using this patch you can force your system to use non-default voltage for your AMD K8 CPU. Look at the patch for some hints on its use - I can't provide support for it.
I've written it to undervolt the CPU (Turion64) of my Acer Aspire 5024, and it seems to work there.
